Mind-Body Coaching

A somatic and mindfulness-based approach to embodied change

Some patterns don’t change through understanding alone. They shift when we learn to meet our experience differently—through awareness, presence, and the body.

Mind-Body Coaching is a 1:1 process that supports you to slow down, listen inwardly, and create meaningful change in how you relate to yourself, others, and your life.

This work is grounded in the principles of life coaching, and enriched by somatic, mindfulness-based, and trauma-informed approaches that support change that is both psychological and embodied.

It is not about fixing yourself. It is about developing the capacity to meet your experience with more clarity, steadiness, and compassion—so change can arise from within.

The Approach

My practice is informed by training in professional life coaching (ICF), mind-body coaching, mindfulness meditation, somatic trauma-informed practice, creative arts therapy, dance movement therapy and psychology—brought together as an integrated, embodied approach to personal transformation.

Rather than being method-led, sessions are presence-led—shaped by what is emerging and what most needs attention in the moment.

HOW WE WORK TOGETHER

Sessions are guided by what is present for you in the moment.

We work with thoughts, emotions, body sensations, relational patterns, and lived experience as they arise in real time.

This may include exploring:

  • recurring emotional or behavioural patterns

  • stress, anxiety, or overwhelm

  • difficulty with boundaries or self-trust

  • life transitions or uncertainty

  • a sense of disconnection or being stuck

Through mindfulness and somatic awareness, we gently bring attention to what is happening beneath the surface, so it can be met, understood, and worked with in a new way.

WHAT THIS WORK SUPPORTS

This process can support you to:

  • Shift long-standing emotional and behavioural patterns

  • Develop greater self-awareness and emotional clarity

  • Strengthen self-trust and inner stability

  • Navigate relationships and boundaries more consciously

  • Work with stress and overwhelm in a grounded way

  • Move through transition and change with more ease

  • Reconnect with your body and internal sense of direction

  • Relate to yourself with more compassion and less internal conflict

is my approach right for you?

WE MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF :

  • You want a stronger connection between body, mind, and emotions

  • You feel disconnected, overwhelmed, or stuck

  • You long for greater meaning, purpose, or authenticity

  • You want more energy, presence, and aliveness

  • You are open to experiential and body-based exploration, not just talking

WE ARE NOT A GOOD FIT IF :

  • You are currently experiencing significant mental health issues

  • You are seeking coaching as a substitute for medical or psychological treatment

  • You are looking for quick fixes without deeper self-exploration

  • You are seeking someone to give you advice

THE INTENTION

At its core, this work is about alignment.

Aligning how you live, respond, and relate
with what matters most to you.

Over time, this creates a quieter kind of change—less forced, more integrated.
A shift in how you are with yourself.
